The House model for this year is the same as for 2024. This model held up reasonably well during the last election, and I'm hoping for a repeat this year.
The Democrats are hoping capture President Trump's historically high disapproval ratings to flip the House majority. The Republicans are counting on mid-cycle partisan redistricting to attempt to hold on to a few extra seats. The current polling environment favors the Democrats, but a GOP upset is well within the margin of error.
